"Just returned from the Mahakam River and Orangutan Wildlife tour 5 Days 4 Nights would like to thank Mr. Rusdy and his team for unbelievable and unforgettable trip. The boat trip up the Mahakam River was astonishing passing floating villages, totally isolated and the wildlife was amazing. Proboscis monkeys and birds everywhere. Staying in longhouses with Mr Rusdy and Dee Dee our driver cooking delicious meals of fish and prawns straight from the river and fruits from the forest. Arrived at Kutai National Park and was taken straight into the forest and saw my first Orangutan within 5 minutes of entering. The park ranger really new his stuff and could identify every noise in the forest/Again birds and wildlife everywhere and the trees are amazing. Be warned the accommodation is basic ( no hot showers ) but trust me its worth it."
"We had a great time exploring East Kalimantan in Borneo with Rusdy. He showed us many unique monkeys and birds, while trekking and canoeing, including wild orangutans in Kutai National Park and NOT on a feeding platform like in other parks or zoos. We spent a long time observing a mother and baby eating fruits and swinging from tree to tree...and watched several other orangutans playing and napping. Rusdy is an excellent host with a vast knowledge of the area and is an all-in-one guide and cook.".
